TP-Link Deco X50 V1 AX3000 Whole-Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System – 2 Pack
Two coordinated Wi-Fi 6 mesh units delivering fast dual-band performance, seamless roaming and coverage of up to 4,500 sq. ft. for busy connected homes.
Deco X50 V1 uses two coordinated access points to create one whole-home network instead of relying on a single router to reach every room. Compatible devices can connect to a suitable Deco as you move through the property, helping maintain a more consistent experience for calls, streaming and everyday browsing.
AX3000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 delivers up to 2402Mbps on 5GHz and 574Mbps on 2.4GHz. Support for 160MHz channels, OFDMA and MU-MIMO helps compatible devices make more efficient use of available bandwidth when multiple users are online together.
A practical two-node mesh upgrade for households that want broader coverage
and smoother roaming without moving to a more complex tri-band system.
Ideal For
Streaming & Home Working
Wi-Fi 6 capacity supports simultaneous video calls, streaming, downloads and everyday browsing around the household.
Smart-Home Networks
Support for more than 150 devices gives growing collections of phones, televisions, cameras and connected home products room to expand.
Key Features
AX3000 Wi-Fi 6
Combined wireless speeds of up to 3.0Gbps provide strong capacity for modern connected homes and compatible high-speed devices.
160MHz Channel Support
Wider 5GHz channels allow compatible clients to access more bandwidth, supporting faster downloads and local network activity.
AI-Driven Mesh
Deco intelligently learns the network environment to optimise how the mesh serves devices throughout the home.
Seamless Roaming
Both Deco units share one network name, helping compatible devices move between them without manually changing Wi-Fi connections.
Three Gigabit Ports Per Unit
Auto-sensing WAN/LAN ports support broadband connections, wired equipment and optional Ethernet backhaul between the Deco units.
TP-Link HomeShield
Built-in security, parental controls and Quality of Service tools help you manage connected devices and household network access.
Wi-Fi 6 Performance for Busy Homes
More Bandwidth Where It Matters
Deco X50 V1 offers up to 2402Mbps on the 5GHz band using Wi-Fi 6 and HE160, alongside up to 574Mbps on 2.4GHz. This gives compatible laptops, phones and entertainment devices access to faster wireless capacity while retaining support for established 2.4GHz equipment.
Beamforming concentrates wireless signal strength towards connected clients, while BSS Colour helps minimise conflicts with nearby Wi-Fi networks.
Designed for More Simultaneous Devices
OFDMA lets the network communicate with multiple compatible Wi-Fi 6 clients more efficiently, while 2×2 MU-MIMO allows simultaneous data transmission to supported devices.
Together with four wireless streams and support for more than 150 devices, these technologies make Deco X50 suitable for homes where streaming, calls and smart-home traffic happen at the same time.
Two Deco Units, One Network
Coverage up to 4,500 sq. ft.
TP-Link rates the Deco X50 two-pack for seamless mesh coverage of up to 4,500 sq. ft. Positioning one unit near the broadband connection and the second deeper into the property can extend coverage beyond the practical reach of a single-router setup.
Actual coverage varies according to building materials, interference, unit placement and the capabilities of connected devices.
Wireless or Ethernet Backhaul
The two Deco units can communicate wirelessly, avoiding the need to run network cable between rooms. Where Ethernet is already installed, optional wired backhaul provides a direct connection between units.
Additional compatible Deco models can be added later when an even larger mesh network is required.
Straightforward App Management
Setup and Control Through the Deco App
The Deco app guides you through installation step by step, from connecting the first unit to creating the household network. Once configured, you can see connected devices, create guest access, prioritise selected equipment and manage the system remotely.
Deco X50 can operate in Router Mode or Access Point Mode and supports WPA3-Personal encryption. TP-Link HomeShield adds network scanning, parental controls and device-based Quality of Service, while some advanced HomeShield functions may require a separate subscription.
